Very close to the airport, clean, comfortable, kind staff. The only thing is they don’t offer the traveller a slipper which causes a bit inconvenience.
The hotel shuttle is running between the hotel and terminals around per 15 minutes, the driver of shuttle is very friendly and helpful. It’s regrettable that I didn’t bring any corns or cash as a tip for his great service. Many thanks to him.

Exploring Los Angeles, the place where movies are made, you feel like you’re in a dream. Santa Monica Pier is the end point of the fabled Route 66, while just south is bohemian Venice Beach, lined by tall, swaying palms. Go slightly inland from the boardwalk to catch a glimpse of the canals that earned the area its name.
Head north to the golden beach and stunning scenery of Malibu and see why movie stars over the decades have settled here. Also popular with the rich and famous are Bel Air and Beverly Hills, home to exclusive Rodeo Drive.
And the reason for all this glitz and glamour? Hollywood, of course! Sitting high on a hill, the iconic sign is visible for miles around, while below the gold stars on Hollywood Boulevard immortalize celebrities of past and present. Be there on premiere night to see them grace the red carpet of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Over the hill is Universal Studios, with behind-the-scenes tours as well as rides. Next door are the Warner Brothers Studios, and Paramount Studios are closer to Downtown LA.
Whether you decide to live like a star in a luxury LA hotel or choose a cheap motel through Booking.com, it’s worth renting a car to get around this sprawling city and out to Los Angeles Airport (LAX).
Honestly, I don't like LA a lot. I prefer Santa Barbara, San Francisco or Monterey in terms of city. LA is a very expensive city because all the touristic points are kinda far from each other and your options to move in the city are subway, uber or rent a car.
The issue is that in the subway you'll find a lot of users under the influence and, for first time travelers, it must be a shock. But it's the easiest way to move around.
The ubers are very expensive and renting a car will increase your chances to get in a lot of traffic jam.
There are some nice places such as the Farmer Market, observatory, Santa Monica and the Parks (universal and Disneyland). And of course the walk of fame but I found very tacky and ugly. The food is also good, you can find very nice restaurants and coffee. Bottega Louie was my favorite as well as the food in Farmers Market.
So my advice is to stay in a strategic place where you can avoid traffic jam and visit the places around. And plan a short stay and visit other places such as Santa Barbara, San Francisco and San Diego.

Great places to visit - hike to Hollywood sign, helicopter ride over the city, Laguna Beach, Venice beach, Santa Monica Pier.
Not so great - expensive! Busy during rush hours, big city to get around so need a car. Difficult to find healthy food options as few and far between. Prepare to queue!

Dodgers game was an addition to our trip and we truly enjoyed it. We found people in the city to be friendly and helpful. Favorite areas to stay were Beverly Hills and Hollywood. And downtown stay at the CitizenM was perfect to catch the game.

Santa Monica is fine. The beach. The main street without cars. Good shopping and restaurants opportunities. We booked a hop-on hop off tour. One sees a lot of skyscrapers in LA but the streets are nothing special

Went there is visit family and watch Dodgers games.
Went there is visit family and watch Dodgers games. They were very accommodating as they won every game we saw (who could ask for anything more). We also went to several comedy clubs. What a great deal that is. . no fee just a request order two things (drink or food). Check out Flappers in Burbank. Note: they will charge for famous people like Jay Leno.
Loved the location, super close to alot of high-end restaraunts and great overall vibe at the hotel and very clean. Great point for checking our all the touristy things on and near Hollywood boulevard and super close proximity to universal studios. They let us keep our luggage at the front desk after check out as we had a super late night flight that day and the food and cocktails are great! Definitely not a cheap spot though if you are looking at travelling on a budget but definitley a couples friendly hotel.
Great location next to Union Station and cheapest hotel available. Hey we only needed it to have somewhere to sleep. Is it the best area? No. Is it the best hotel? No, but!! it’s cheap, somewhere where you can spend the night, staff was really friendly and it was worth it for the price. If all you need is somewhere to sleep that has great public transportation connections this is the place to travel around LA. It’s also very close to China Town and Calle Olvera 👀 AC cold like ice too.
Lovely golden age of Hollywood hotel with spectacular lobby and beautifully decorated (if a bit worn on the edges) public spaces. Located in old downtown LA, which is an easily walkable area packed with the best of the city landmarks. Everyone working at this hotel is polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Bed was very comfortable and we loved the generous sized closet and big drawers to unpack into. Beautiful old wooden windows that actual open so you can get some fresh air.
Everything! This hotel is super comfortable and meets all needs. They have a great, but not over priced, restaurant and bakery/Caffe. Their staff is so warm and welcoming. The area is a perfect combination of cute, elegant, and street, it is near skid row, so it does get rowdy, but I still feel safe alone as a woman walking around the block at night. Tons of restaurants and stores all around. They even have a bidet toilet attachment in the cheapest rooms.
The best place I’ve stayed at in all my trips to Los Angeles. I stayed in room 1207 and it was a big room with cooking facilities and the bathroom was extra big. It has east access to Starbucks and a wonderful pizza shop as well.
The pool was awesome and the hotel is extra close to the airport as well. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast food was more than enough considering it is Los Angeles and things ain’t cheap.
The staff was super friendly and professional and really did make us feel like guests, not customers. They were able to answer any questions about the city and or the hotel. And they let us leave out bags after checkout and retrieve them before we went to the airport. In the end this was cheaper and better located than our original plans and I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.
Perfect spot in Hollywood and a beautiful hotel. Clean, modern and spacious. Had the Hollywood Sign View Room which was amazing, with a proper view of the sign.
It’s right next to the Ovation Mall and the Hollywood Walk of Fame so was extremely convenient for us.
As expected it wasn’t cheap but that was not surprising given the area.
Overall not one thing to complain about!
Front counter desk efficient, helpful and friendly. Fast check in. Note this hotel does NOT have an airport shuttle operating at this time. Cheapest to get a taxi (not Uber) from the LAX-iT transit centre to hotel. You get the Airport Shuttle to Ubers/taxi from the green painted area on Floor 1 outside the Departure area. Breakfast had good selection and rooms nice. Thanks.
The location of this hotel was perfect. It was directly across from the beach and the Santa Monica pier was a 3 min walk. A short walk to 3rd street promenade and downtown Main Street . The staff was very helpful they let us check in early and out day of departure they stored our bags and even allowed us to use the office restroom to change before going to the airport.
Location is great if you like WeHo or Hollywood. But far from downtown though.
Newly refurbished place, spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. The little terrace is a nice add-on. Large minibar in room. Beautiful pool with large and nice outdoor area. Large garage with valet-service. Alternatively, the hotel reimbursed a part of UBeR costs.
Beautiful restaurant area.
Hotel's location is downtown LA and close from the 7th Metro station very useful if you need to be located there. Plus there are different restaurants around the area so you can try different things there. The room's bed was nice and comfortable, room have espresso machine, the staff are nice. I liked the bar and staff there are nice too...
The location was great. Even though downtown LA is overall a kind of sketchy area, the small slice of the city where the hotel is located feels relatively safe with most tourists sights downtown being walking distance. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel is great for classic American diner food. And the lobby is well done too.
the beds are comfortable, every time I go to Los Angeles this is my place to stay , it’s close to the airport , downtown LA , I also love the girls at the front desk they have always been really nice to me , I also love that they always left 2 packages of makeup removal wipes , I always forget mine and they make sure I have them 👏
Conveniente location to/from LAX. You can save money in transportation by taking the hertz shuttle at the airport and once at the hertz station you can cross the street and arrive to hotel. By bus you can reach LA downtown and santa monica! In the area there dining options.
The location was excellent. Downtown Los Angeles is really coming to life and this hotel is right in the thick of the action. Hotel amenities are sleek and modern, and I appreciate the staff giving .e a helping hand on arrival...especially José.
Booked this hotel while looking for a cheaper well-rated hotel in the LA area and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel felt relatively modern, was clean, the rooms were great too. Lots of free parking and good hot breakfast.
It was a nice cosy hotel and cheap for the stay was quite centralised so easy to get to places, and the best part being the free parking which was hard to find in hotels in Los Angeles. Easy check in and friendly staff.
it's really the cheapest non shared hotel out there in Hollywood and I suppose it works for the most part. The room was fine and the place is close to a lot of restaurants and places in Hollywood.
A wonderful hotel, in a very good location, close to the subway station and restaurants, with a rooftop swimming pool with a beautiful view of Los Angeles and Hollywood.
